The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode, but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows.

The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find them at the end of your arms. As you grow older, you’ll discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.

People, even more than things have to be restored, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child runs his or her fingers through it once a day.

How To Be Lovely – Part 1

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

I’ve always been a great fan of Audrey Hepburn – a beloved icon who found success as an actress, a mother and an humanitarian.

Audrey Hepburn perfected the art of gracious living. She was an expert in the art of being a woman.

I’ve just finished re-reading an old book that I bought two years ago when it was first published, “How to Be Lovely: The Audrey Hepburn Way of Life” by Melissa Hellstern.

The book uncovers the real Audrey, in her own words and it also imparts whatever wisdom and insight she found along the way to the millions who grew up, or will grow up, wanting to be just like her.

NB. I recommend this book to all fans & also non-fans of Ms.Audrey Hepburn – as it offers a rare glimpse into the woman behind the mystique and the definitive guide to living genuinely with glamour and grace.
