No spoilers here.. & my sincere apologies to all readers who probably thinks that this blog is becoming a blog of movie reviews..’cos this is the 2nd movie review I’ve posted in three days.. Btw, this is posted at the request of a reader who wants to know if this movie is worth watching.
Fyi, I am a sucker for romance, especially a chick flick..
I watched this movie during my last trip to Singapore..

Sandra Bullock is re-teamed with Keanu Reeves to star in The Lake House. Hollywood copied it from a Korean movie, Il Mare (Italian for “the sea”), which was made in 2000.

I just wanna say that the plot was illogical but I still enjoyed it! It was just a beautiful story if you try not to analyse the logic in trying to get the time difference of the story etc. I took the story at its face value. I was touched by the spontaneity of being in love and wanting to share the joy together. If you wanna watch it, forget about the logic and practicality for a change. The ending was good and I like it like that.
By the way, Keanu was so hot in the movie and Sandra was as beautiful as ever. My simple verdict for this girlie movie – thumbs up!

Thanks! I will go watch.
You’re welcome..

Oh yeah I’m thinking of watching this movie and another one “Lady in the Dark”.
Go watch it… you won’t regret.
I think you mean “Lady in the Water” by M. Night Shyamalan… Me too.

I knew a girl who knew Keanu before he was famous.
I’m envious of her…
Does he still know her…now that he’s femes?
When they shot ‘The Matrix’ in Sydney, some of it was filmed just up the street from where I worked, and quite a lot of people went up to watch it all. One of the guys came back after lunch and told me how he was watching down this alleyway, and every so often they’d see Keanu flashing past the other end of the alleyway. lol
[Personally, I thought it was a bit of a waste spending a lunch break at the end of an alleyway.]
Haha…to them, that’s a one in a lifetime chance of seeing Keanu flashing past…
I think maybe I’d prefer to see the korean film before I bother with the Hollywood remake.
I watched “Il Mare” on dvd last year.
